The Year 4 children enjoyed telling me facts about the WW2 and shared memories of Great Grandpas going to War. We used black and red wool and tired it around 2 sticks to make our poppies to remember the brave solider’s in Wars.

We had family Fun looking for the spooky objects in the woods. The children made potions, played hide and seek and we finished with toffee apples and sausages at the fire.
Christmas Fun with Chevin Forest school
Our Christmas celebrations began with a treasure hunt . the children followed the trail of baubles. The divided the coins found. Then we had to find the reindeer and we named them from singing ‘ Ruldolf the Reindeer’. The children made lots of Christmas decorations and bells to sing around the fire. Then finally we had a visit from Santa. The children had fun and parents took away a mince pie.
